Engine 7 is a 2001 Freightliner (American LaFrance) Pumper/Rescue. Engine 7 is the departments first in pumper, it also goes out on all automobile accidents as our primary rescue truck. This truck has the capacity to seat 5 personnel, the truck can pump up to 1500 gpm and has a 750 gallon tank, It also has a 20 gallon foam tank. As this truck also funcitions as our primary rescue truck it carry's Hurst cutters and spreaders. There are several other rescue tools that this truck carries. Engine 7 was part of a Mabas task force team that went to New Orleans immediately following Hurricane Katrina, five personnel from Mabas division 38 went down with the truck.
